3. Tools – There are some tools you will find you will need to help you with website designing. You will need a domain, hosting, FTP program, and an HTML editor. Most of these you can find on the internet at no cost. You will have to purchase a domain name and hosting these aren’t free, but you can get both at very low cost.
5. Knowledge – Take the time to learn the basics to HTML. The best way to learn HTML is to do while you learn. Don’t spend a lot of time just reading and learning, actually do the work as you learn it. It is much easier to learn this way.

Am I only going to provide information?

Or am I going to have a product or service I wish to sale?

Do I want graphics?

Where will my navigation bar be placed, at the left hand side or the right hand side or the top of the page?

If you can successfully answer most of these questions you are on your way to creating a good quality landing page. Do remember that content is King!! The more content you can provide the better your landing page will be with the search engines.
